'The Australian Field & Game National Titles' were held recently at Kingston with 400 shooters competing for the titles. Fisher Firearms were there trading along with Winchester Australia, Highland Sports and Beretta Australia all of whom were involved with the sponsorship of the competition. The shoot took place over two days with 75 targets being shot on both days. The weather on Saturday made it very testing for the shooters with very windy and wet conditions prevailing for most of the day. Sunday was overcast and cold but a lot better conditions for shooting. Congratulations to Rohan Parker, president of the Kingston club and its band of workers, as Fisher Firearms was proud to be a part of a very successful national competition.'
